"I bought Shanti a Hunter 336 Sailboat in February. Like many new boat owners who are new to Diesel engines I was very skeptical of hiring a mechanic, & tried to do it on my own. Overwhelmed by new boat errands, I decided to hire a mechanic anyways, David from Melbourne Diesel Engines was recommended to me. He showed up to the job on time, very professional & super friendly, he inspected my engine throughout & in less than 2 hours, he had changed my oil filter, pumped out & replaced engine oil, and transmission oil, bleed air from the system, he cleaned & inspected my raw water pump & together we found a loose vane from the impeller, & he calmly traced & located in the hose before it caused a bigger problem. We checked the battery & few other tasks but most importantly he explained every little step to me along the way. He is honest & knowledgeable both are traits hard to come by, I think I lucked out by calling this guy first, he is the type of diesel mechanic you would recommend for your Mom ☝️🤗👍🏽"

"Amazing mechanics!! We were in Cape Canaveral and needed our engines serviced, and ended up needing to have an alternator replaced. Devon overnighted the part, and had it installed in less than 24 hours!! Plus, he helped us solve a grounding issue that has allowed us to charge our batteries without problem. "Had a problem with a raw water pump. Called them up, they had a mechanic on site in 90 minutes (including a 45 minute drive) who quickly sized up the problem(s) and ordered a new pump. Pump arrived the next day, got installed, and we are on our way again. Fast, quality service. Also courteous and followed all social distancing guidelines. Very happy. "They helped us with a very difficult engine/shaft alignment where the engines had been installed with the alignment bolts cemented with red Locktite. These had to be broken free with an induction bolt heater to perform the alignment. The job required lifting the engines to get at the mounts. They soldiered through and made quick work of a job that many other mechanics would have turned down because of the difficulty. These guys are awesome!"

"First off, I rarely write reviews but this one is well deserved. Great service for me started with Dave the owner answering his phone after I blew a supercharger clutch on EASTER as I headed up the ICW. Amazing. Then he scheduled and came out Monday morning to diagnose and take parts off. Tuesday about midday or so I was back up and running and on my way. You just don’t get service like that often. On top of everything else Dave fixed some smaller potential problems and have great advice for what I should keep an eye on as well.
